February 20th Cyril's not so veiled threat

In response to this recent post on social media:

​The wolves have begun to viciously snap in defense of the uncanonical actions local Moscow Bishop, Patriarch Cyril. The Moscow Bishop’s minions, particularly those in the anomalous so-called ROCOR jurisdiction have come out in full force attack mode. Not so much for repeating the date which they gloat for, but rather for exposing the Russian propaganda inherent in the date: February 20, 2020.

​Beyond caustically and duplicitously being set on Tsiknopempti (Greek: Τσικνοπέμπτη literally Smelly Thursday, or even Charred Smoky Thursday "because of the smell of the grilled meat in the air," which is part of the traditional celebrations for Carnival before the beginning of Great Lent) Bishop Cyril has exerted tremendous diplomatic pressure on other canonical church to attend.

Some say this date (February 20) is a veiled threat of war from Putin to the Ukraine. Putin sends this subversive subliminal message to Ukraine via Patriarch Cyril. 20/02/20 is so blatantly a date promoted by the Kremlin it’s scary. Ramifications of “February 20” particularly in recent years, highlights considerable trauma in the minds of Ukrainians. 

The uncanonical meetings dates were announced by the assistant Department of External Affairs, Bishop Victora of the Moscow Patriarchate Ukrainian Church, vocal rival of the Canonical Church led Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kyiv. This “Jordanian Synaxis” will begin on February 20 and be concluded by February 23, 2020. FYI February 23 is “Defender of the Fatherland” day in Russia, which focuses on the achievements of military forces and veterans.

This is no coincidence, by any stretch of the imagination.
